From Historical Commemorations to Nature's Splendor: USPS Sets to Release an Array of Stamps in 2024

The United States Postal Service® (USPS) is set to enrich the nation's postal tradition with a diverse and vibrant collection of stamps in 2024, celebrating various facets of American culture, history, and natural beauty. This year's lineup promises something for everyone, from history enthusiasts and nature lovers to fans of literature and bluegrass music.

The 2024 stamp collection is a reflection of America's compelling story, featuring themes that range from the protection of sea turtles and the majestic cosmos to significant historical commemorations such as the Underground Railroad and the 250th anniversary of the First Continental Congress. Additionally, the series will spotlight Autumn Colors, Horses, Save Manatees, and Garden Delights for those who admire the natural world.

Highlighting the importance of these stamps, the USPS notes, "Whether you’re passionate about protecting sea turtles or starstruck by stunning views of the cosmos, you’ll find 2024 stamps from the United States Postal Service® that reflect part of you in America’s compelling story."

Serious collectors can look forward to the 47th Black Heritage stamp, honoring the groundbreaking jurist Constance Baker Motley (1921-2005), and the 34th Literary Arts issuance dedicated to prizewinning author Saul Bellow (1915-2005). The Lunar New Year series continues with the Year of the Dragon, marking the fifth installment in the latest 12-year cycle.
